The Computer and Information Science Department of Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, IN, invites applications for two (2) or more fully funded PhD student positions in Computer Vision.The positions are in the Visual Information Translation Analysis and Learning (VITAL) Project:http://cs.iupui.edu/~gavriil/vital/The core topics are
model-based computer vision (deformable model-based segmentation and registration)
Graphical models for segmentation of compartment-defined structures, and scene modeling (structure and dynamics)
Successful candidates will gain the Purdue University PhD degree in Computer Science
